auto get data from MS SQL server n insert into mysql database? Urgent
the problem now for me is i need get data from MS SQL server everyday for daily data and insert into mysql database.
Isnt possible to create a script to auto this process?? how can it do it?
impossible to done it manually rite? everyday must be done it....
pls help me.....

Yes it can be done via a script, you just need to load the script it will read the data from your MS SQLServer database and insert into a table which is in MySQL that can be used for your day to day operations.
But you haven't mentioned your scripting language preference ASP, PHP, ColdFusion, Java, etc. Without that information i think it is very difficult to comment about that.
MySQL (http://www.mysql.com) has some GUI Tools (http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/gui-tools/5.0.html) and one of them is a MySQL Migration Toolkit 1.1 that well allow you to migrate your MS SQL database or other database to MySQL.
