Design Help with VB 5.0.5

Hi,

I just installed VB 5 the other day and this is actually my first time working with VB at all. I had a few questions about how do I change the colors on certain parts of my forum.

1. How do I change the color of the background of the forum sections? (see screenshot)

2. How do I put the colored line above the forum sections AND above the modules (see screenshot, red line in screenshot)

Is that a custom skin?

AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Select Style Variable Editor/Click Go (on the style you want to edit)

In the StyleVar editor I click the ignore variables check box. That way when you click on the header, it puts all the variables in one scrollable box.
FormElements, Modules and ModuleTabs are the ones to look in I think. Make one change at a time, or use colours that will stand out to figure out which one does what (one at a time if your new to this like me). Have a separate tab/window open with your vBulletin on and refresh after you have saved the changes in AdminCP...

I wish there was a more intuitive way, good luck! :D

Yes it's a custom skin. I wanted to modify it and make something similar.

I've tried to change just about every Stylevar in the Style Manager with no luck. Is it even there to change?

You will have overrides from the custom skin you have installed. Ask the site you bought it off to assist or go Admin CP > Styles & templates > Search in Templates > "additional" (the latter requires css coding knowledge)
